Hi friends, check out this new video of how to set mp3 songs as ringtone in Moto g5 and g5s plus. I am using Moto g5s plus and I have faced this problem of not able to set mp3 songs as ringtone though any option or any application. In other phones or brand you get an option to set mp3 files as ringtone though file manager or music player app but in Moto G5S Plus you won't be able to do this.

So I figured out a very simple and easy way to set mp3 files as ringtone in moto phones without using any third party application. Please check this video from start to end to understand better all steps for this simple trick.
